Today we can read that CIA was behind Boris Pasternak 's Nobel Price in litterateur 1958. Read the whole article at SVD (Swedish). Not that they forced the Swedish Academy to give the price to Mr. Pasternak but they thought that the book was anti-soviet in certain chapters so CIA printed the book in the original language, Russian that was a criteria for the Swedish Academy to give the price to Mr. Pasternak.
