Attended a discussion forum on Jhove tonight, really interesting stuff they are working on. I don't agree completly on their architechtural details but overall it is an interesting project and I can for see it fit into our OAIS-adaption at SLBA. Depending on the API they supply and the ease of adding new parsers it could really save us some effort; right now it is lacking support for moving images but therte are existing open source parsers for MPEG and hopefully it shouldn't turn out to be too …
