2007-08-11 00:01 Danish PM Wants New Immigration Policy
Denmark is well known throughout Europe for its hard stand on asylum seekers and immigration. This is partly linked to the success of the Danish People's Party, which the Swedish Left often labels a far-right political party. This is only partly true. Above everything else, it is a semi-racist, collectivist, and nationalistic big-government party. But things may be about to change in Denmark. The Copenhagen Post reports: Just back from summer holiday, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the prime minister, u …

2007-10-22 00:10 Denmark: What is a fatwa
A fatwa is an Islamic legal ruling. It can be a "death sentence", which in today's Muslim world actually means calling for an "open season" on somebody, but it doesn't have to be. It can technically be any decision on how to act in a specific case. When the Danish Islamic Society lost its court case against Pia Kjærsgaard, its leaders announced they will seek a fatwa. A fatwa for what This was Reuter's take on the story: "We are very disappointed with the verdict and are considering an appe …

Muslim group requests fatwa after nationalist party leader acquitted of libel The head of the nationalist Danish People s Party, Pia Kjærsgaard, was cleared Friday of libel charges filed by Muslim organisation Islamisk Trossamfund, prompting …

2007-07-14 19:16 The Good News From Denmark
Europe is on the front lines of the Great Jihad, and Denmark is leading the active resistance against the Islamization of Europe. Two welcome events have come out of Denmark in the last few days, each of them sure to warm the hearts of the Counterjihad and also to provoke the worst from Islamic Rage Boy (would that be islamisk raseri dreng ) in Denmark and throughout the Muslim world. Both of these articles feature Islamisk Trossamfund, which is the Danish equivalent of CAIR, according to Kepibl …

2007-07-13 02:06 Danish Muslims call for fatwa against Jyllands-Posten
Islamic Society of Copenhagen can t accept the secular laws of Denmark, and therefore they plan to seek support in the Middle East for a fatwa against Jyllands-Posten, if the newspaper is acquitted in a pending civic case, which a number of Muslim organizations has initiated against the paper, and if the European Human Rights Court also makes a decision that goes against the legal demands of the Muslims. This is tomorrows top story in Jyllands-Posten. Until now nobody has had to answer for insu …

2007-05-17 18:05 The Cover-Up
If nothing else, Pia Kjærsgaard made it to the frontpages of Swedish media with her initiative to ban all "Muslim" scarves. Basically, Kjærsgaard's initiative carries the message: You can be a Muslim as long as you're not a Muslim. Equally hilarious is her misrepresentation of Christiany and - especially - Judaism. Not even the Danish Minister for Integration is the least amused .
