Last week Alabama defensive end Wallace Gilberry said the following in reference to Matthew Stafford: After the game Saturday, I can tell you anything you want to know - his birthday, his telephone number, his home address. Talks about the possibility of redshirts for Caleb King and Bruce Figgins and the likelihood of Rennie Curran playing this season (it's gonna happen. Picture Day descends on Athens tomorrow. Hundreds of parents will make their families suffer in the blistering heat for a chance at getting a picture of their kid with Uga. Fans with great tact will blow past reserves and other Georgia teams to hobnob with a handful of football players. The lines for Matthew Stafford, Uga, and Mark Richt started forming in June. OFFENSE: It is hard for any freshman to start at quarterback, let alone for an SEC team. That was the case for Georgias Matthew Stafford a year ago, and while he did experience some growing pains, the talented signal caller has all the tools needed to succeed.
