Open-wheel racing fans rejoice! The 2008 Champ Car schedules are out, and include a new European track. The Atlantic Series will include seven races in the US, three in Canada as part of the Canadian Triple Crown and one in Mexico. The Atlantic series kicks off on April 20th in Long Beach and April 27 in Houston. Wilson overtook Simon Pagenaud of Team Australia with almost 0.9 seconds. They were followed closely by PKV Racing's Tristan Gommendy. Tristan Gommendy took the third place while Graham Rahal obtained the 4th position. Every year I spend a few days down by the lake to enjoy the Champ Car and support series races. Every year they seem to tweak the name in some way - so this year it is the " Steelback Grand Prix of Toronto ". For the last couple of years I have had media credentials which means I have access to the media centre and a wifi connection so I can post this stuff real-time.
