Open-wheel racing fans rejoice! The 2008 Champ Car schedules are out, and include a new European track. The Atlantic Series will include seven races in the US, three in Canada as part of the Canadian Triple Crown and one in Mexico. The Atlantic series kicks off on April 20th in Long Beach and April 27 in Houston. The Champ Car World Series sees the addition of Jerez, Spain and the track originally built to host the 1986 Spanish Formula One Grand Prix. Full release and schedule after the jump... …

This time the victim was Andrew Ranger, who led the first 31 laps of the 32-lap event at the Rexall Grand Prix Edmonton in front of 60,132 fans. This weekend Edmonton is hosting Champ Car's Rexall Grand Prix of Edmonton race at the Edmonton Municipal Airport. In addition to the main Champ Car race, the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series will also be holding a race as part of the festivities. In it Pierre Bourque of Bourque Newswatch will be driving the Number 29 Conservative car. We here at Right On Course wish Pierre all the best for the upcoming race.
