The reduction or elimination of CO2 emissions from electricity generation in fossil fuel power plants is a major target in the current socio-economic, environmental and political situation and discussions on how to reduce greenhouse gas emissions such as CO2. This mission could be achieved by introducing gas separation techniques making use of membrane technology, which is, as a rule, associated with significantly lower efficiency losses compared with conventional separation technologies.
